Qualcomm has announced the latest mobile platform, which will be equipped with the next-gen flagship phones. Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is the ninth release in the flagship mobile platform, Snapdragon series. Qualcomm has also decided to change the naming convention of its Adreno GPU, which makes things more confusing. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is comprised of an amped-up 18-bit triple image signal processor (ISP), Qualcomm’s first-ever Armv9 CPU cores, and more capable machine learning (ML).
